Born and raised in central Kentucky, Chris started his journey into the dog world while at Eastern Kentucky University with a German Shepherd named Zoey. Chris and Zoey trained with various dog clubs and went on to title in tracking. Chris’ love for dogs grew as he moved around for work, gaining experience and exposure. He finally decided to start training dogs professionally over 10 years ago. His passion for dogs led him to become a police officer. Now he is the dog handler for a Sheriff’s office. Chris believes in continuing education and attends classes/seminars regularly to ensure he is providing the best experience possible for the families he works with. He is also a founding member of the Central Kentucky Police Dog Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping provide training to K-9 units from smaller agencies.
